Last year Dr. JoAnn Deak shared research with Twin Parks Montessori School’s faculty and administration about effective ways to talk with children. We learned that young children, girls, especially are sensitive to loud noises and voices. When parents raise their voice or yell to get a point across it has lasting effects on children.
