On Wednesday night, I attended a showing of the documentary about 4th grade teacher, John Hunter’s World Peace Game at the Independent Film Center (IFC). The film documents a classroom with a political science simulation. Students use their imagination and critical thinking skills to think their way out of situations they inherit in the game. This could be a Montessori elementary classroom in the way the students cooperate and collaborate to keep world peace. If you get a chance to see this movie, please do.
