Amelia Rodriguez joined the Central Park community in 2016. A Montessori student herself, Amelia earned her Montessori Early Childhood Credential from WSMS-TEP, and has a deep understanding of the philosophy. Amelia taught at the Lamplighter Montessori School in Memphis, Tennessee, and has experience working in both toddler and early childhood classrooms in addition to the afterschool program. Amelia has experience teaching in our Early Childhood Extended Day program as well as our Art enrichment class. Amelia completed her B.S. in Hospitality Management from St. John’s University in 2015, where she also served as the Student Programming Board Vice President and as a member of the College of Professional Studies Honor Society. In her free time, Amelia enjoys watching sports, spending time outdoors, reading, and hanging with her family.
