Ellen is passionate about Montessori and Early Childhood education in her work as an educator. Ellen was a teacher at Park West for 11 years, working with the 3-6 age group.  In addition to classroom experience, Ellen also taught after school classes and was a camp supervisor.    She has a Bachelor’s degree in Birth-Grade 2 Education, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching with a Montessori major from the College of New Rochelle.   Ellen has her Montessori credential in Early Childhood and is NYS certified as a Birth- grade 2 teacher.
