Tina Scales (Co-Lead Teacher 7:45-3:45pm) has over 20 years of experience as a lead and assistant teacher in Montessori and private schools, beginning her career as a Pre-K paraprofessional. She holds a Certificate in Advanced Film Production from S.I.C. Film School and has served with the For Our Children’s Sake Committee at the United Nations, advocating for children’s rights worldwide. A proud La Guardia alumna, she joined Riverside Montessori in 2024 and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Forensics while beginning her Montessori Infant–Toddler training this fall. Outside the classroom, she enjoys working on film sets, watching musicals, and exploring New York City’s restaurants.
